Have you felt the effects of this full moon yet? The last week has been like a bomb going off in my brain. Between the full moon in Leo AND the eclipse AND the comet streaking through our sky tonight…well, let’s just say that stuff is getting shaken up and shifted and brought to the surface. All my favorite astrologers are talking about major releases of old emotions and old thought patterns, and that’s certainly applied to me this week.

This morning, I took my Linestrider Tarot deck out and pulled a few cards. It was a breathtakingly beautiful and accurate reading! The order of the cards didn’t really matter so much in this reading, since I pulled them with no particular questions in mind, just to get a general feel of what we’re experiencing this weekend.

Looking at this spread, the two cards that popped out at me were the upright cards: The High Priestess and The World. An end of an era, the creation of something new – and the divine feminine energy. Of course, the moon cycle has always been closely associated with the female reproductive cycle and the power of the divine feminine, so I saw those two cards as particularly auspicious. (Not to mention that my good friend also pulled a feminine Phoenix Rising card from her Quantum Tarot deck this morning.)

Then looking at the remaining 3 cards… These were all very relevant to me personally, and all of them reversed.

The 9 of Swords is one of those cards where you’d rather see it reversed than upright, and in this case, it relates to my being ready to move on from some deep-seated fears that I’ve been carrying around for the last 18 months. Combined with the reversed 4 of Pentacles, it’s a message to me that I’m ready to release my fear of poverty because it isn’t doing anything for me but hold me back. (Those of you who know me are probably all sitting there thinking, “Duh.”)

A reversed Queen of Wands is telling me that this is all internal changes, that I’m actually evolving to a higher place through this shift of attitude and energy. Hallelujah! The Queen of Wands is about that quiet inner confidence that comes from knowing your true soul. Again, Queens are more about that mature, feminine, nurturing energy, so this is coming from a place in me that maybe I’ve never been to before. Certainly, my work in the medicine wheel mentorship has something to do with this shift. It’s really as if I’m putting out a new imprint on the quantum field, slipping into a whole new consciousness.
